Thumbs down RK Sport Billet Bowtie Emblem...

Just recieved my RK sport billet "bowtie" emblem for my SS. I assumed they would make it a direct replacement for the stock red bowtie on the rear.... WRONG!

Its about 1/2 the size! I might as well get a magnifying glass out for people when they look at my car.

Did they send the wrong part or is their emblem much smaller than stock ??

It's RKSport what more can you expect from them?

Seriously I would NEVER, EVER, EVER, even consider spending any money on them. They ripped me off so bad in the past and they simply would not return any of my emails or phone calls. They have without a doubt the worste customer service known to man.

Just as i had thought... RK sport customer service =

I went to return my miniscule sized bowtie emblem and first off they take 15% off for restocking.. and dont pay for return shipping (which is half the price).

I then kindly requested that they mention that it is smaller than stock size or just put down the dimensions... his reply... "well, you'll just have to talk to our IT department about that" Since when is it a customers job to take care of thier website???? Since when is false advertising a good idea??? They said it was for the 93> Camaro and its not even close!, i think thats false advertising.

I would have to agree.. this was my "test run" and proved its not worth dealing with them. Good thing there are other Ls1 tech sponsors that can help us out with good customer service

Well... after sending an email to the etire staff of RK sport explaining my situation, they refunded me all of my $$.

Looks like once again, squeeky wheel gets the grease.

Lesson learned: Dont give up, let everyone know, just do it in a respectable manner and good things come of it.

Mr. Dan O------,

Please accept my apologies and on behalf of my staff as well for
the rude way you were treated. I do not condone such behavior I can
assure you.

What I would like to offer is that you keep the bow tie emblem, and
accept a refund in full including your shipping. I would like to have
been able to get the exact part that you were looking for in the first
place but we do not make one nor carry one from another manufacturer.

Again, please accept my humblest apologies. You should see your refund
back to your credit card within 4-5 business days.

If there is anything I can do for you in the mean time or in the future
please do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Jim Wright
