Default Mystic Teal Car + Berger Mod

I picked up a tail panel last night to do the berger mod. Does anybody have pics of this mod on a Mystic Teal car? I can't decide if I wanna keep it glossy or do the Matte Black. If you dont have pictures but have seen one on this color of car, tell me what you like.

Thats my buddies page, he has a 97 mystic car. I like it on his car, sometimes its hard to tell he even has one when follow him in the right light, but i guess thats aided by the mystic paint. I think it might look odd on a car with stock rims though.

I'm going to be getting new rims, but I'm just waiting until after winter is over. I still haven't decided between Z06's and ZR1's and between polished/chrome or black. I might even get the Classic TTII wheels. I had the idea to kinda do the blackout theme on my car but I wanna photoshop it all before I waste my money and don't like it. I have made a few requests but nobody has gotten time yet I guess.

I see you're in KC. My buddy that has the berger panel has some original SS rims off a 96-97 SS. They are silver not chrome but i think he wants to get rid of them and might make you a good deal. He lives in manhattan PM me if you want his info. He said there is no way in hell he'll ship them so they are just sitting in his garage.

oh he also has a set of polished TT2's on his car so if you want pics of those you might hit him up as well.

DEFINETLY paint the panel SATIN BLACK, don't keep the gloss black.

I speak from experience. I had gloss black on my Electron Blue 1994 Z. The satin look on my 1998 Z is MUCH better.

I would do the following to you car (I've owned a Mystic Teal car, love them):

Satin Black panel (Berger style) with Chrome CAMARO letters

REAL Z06 rims (the grey ones) or TTII's with painted centers.

1974 Style Z28 emblems.

Here's some pics of my cars (present and past) to get you going:

Z06 Rims on NBM Z (current car):

Mystic Teal TA with Z06's:

Painted TTII's on Red 1998 Z w/1974 Emblems:

My 1994 Z (Electron Blue) w/1974 Emblems:

Pics of newly installed emblems on 1998 NBM Z. I'll get better ones (in the daylight) tommorrow after I wash her. But for now:

Back Berger panel with Blue Bowtie and 1974 Z28 Emblem:

1974 Z28 Emblems on the sides:

And finally I found these for you. A Mystic Teal Z28 with painted TTII's (not an LT1 but you get the idea) AND SATIN BLACK BERGER PANEL:

Sweet dude. Thanks a lot! I have actually been thinking about the Torq Thrust II Classics. I was wanting to do the Z06 rims, but they dont make a 17"x11" size in that rim, the closest is 18"x10.5 and I dont really have the money for 18" tires and I really want the 315's in the back. I think I'm pretty much set on them. Now I just gotta wait until this **** weather has passed!

FYI a 315 fits just fine on a 9.5" rim. I know from experience. The Red Z in the pics had 17x9.5" rims all around. 275's on the front and 315's on the back.

The tail lights are stock but I painted the white and amber areas with a red translucent paint from a hobby store.
