POLISHED Valve covers PICS!!
Here is a little side project i have taken on.....
I still have a little ways to go yet on the polished one and a LONG way to go on the non polished one. Just waiting for my stuff from Eastwood to finish up. I'll post again when they are ready to go back on the car..

Sanded them up to 600 dry, wetsanded at 1000 and then got a benchtop polisher from sears and the polishing compound bars from sears as well... (i was going to get the parts for my drill.. but i thought what the heck.. i'll just get the benchtop, besides.. you'll have to see my exhaust )
All im waiting on is the sanding rolls and tapers from eastwood so i can get the nooks and crannies... then once more on the polisher.
It takes some time, but its worth it. Besides, now the dirt just easily wipes off them and cant get stuck in the crappy casting marks.
