Calling All Pewter SS's or z28s with ss spoilers!!
Be Proud and Post Them!!

o.k. I'd like to see lots of pics of pewter camaros w/ black spoilers.
Top view, Rear view, side, whatever you got, post-em.

If you got the black Berger panel on a pewter car post them up too.

Yea, where did Steve get that spoiler stripe? That's Nice!!

I seen PEWTER00Z28's, that looks sweet. I was wondering if anyone ordered one for their z28, put in on, and decided it looked better black and left it like it is.

And BitViper, what kind of spoiler is that? Got any more pics?

I'm almost 100% sure the stripe on Steve's spoiler was painted on not a decal.

Question. Curiosity mostly. Why would you (or anyone for that matter) want a black spoiler on a Pewter car (or any color other that didn't match)?

HRE 547Rs I believe were just one of the rims on Steve's car (he had about 30 lol)

And yes, Steve's stripe was painted on. IIRC he wanted something that flowed with the body, but wasnt too over-the-top yet custom.

Im gonna be doing a ZL-1 stripe that continues onto the back on my Pewter SS. Very similar to what Tony (Nine Ball) did with his Hugger SS.

Because I'm going to do the black manta decal on the ss hood, the top/mirrors is black, "maybe black wheels".... so I was wondering how a black spoiler would flow with the whole pewter & black theme.

BTW.
Y2K PEWTER SS, is your spoiler and hood painted black or is that a decal?
I ask cause at www.3rdgendecals.com the stripe they sell doesn't go down the back of the spoiler like your's and tony's (Nine Ball). And I like it.
If so, where'd you get it?

Probably a reason similar to painting the "Berger" rears. It's a why not do something different, I like it.

I'm all for different...just not ugly, sorry. Why not paint the hood different too? It looks unfinished. The Berger panel is an alright move because it doesn't throw the rest of the car off...just the rear. The spoiler not being body color looks like ***. Perfect example is shown in the comparison of Steve's car and the one showing the black spoiler. I know its subjective, but really? You can't argue something doesn't look right...

It can be argued that the factory T-bar being black looks like *** or black mirrors throw off the rest of the car...Everyone has an opinion.
