What kind of badge is it. The raised ones you can gently peel off and then use adhes remover, the foil kind that stick on, heat it up with a heat gun and then it should peel off. May have to use some adhes remover on that also.

Slide a little fishing line or dental floss behind it, and using a sawing motion cut through the adhesive....
Remove any remaining adhesive with some rubbing alcohol or Goo-Gone....

I followed the advice of my body shop guy...slowly heat the badge up with a hair dryer, and work it up from one corner. I took my time, and got it off with no problem

Dealers should keep their dumb *** badges off of cars. I especially hate the dealers that drill into the body and put some big badge. ugh

sorry that stuff just pisses me off
Most likely a blow dryer and floss will get it right off. I did mine on a warm day after it had been sitting in the sun for a while. Eitherway, you wont damage the paint if you just take your time and heat it up.

I finally got tired of people getting upset that one was on MY car. I'd go to a show, and at least one person would say something to the effect of "wow, if that were my car I wouldn't have let that stay one there", and then get upset over it. Now why let yourself get upset over someone else's car? It's gone now, and I have to say that I'm glad I finally removed it.

I remember one guy on here saying he wouldnt buy his car until the dealer removed their stupid emblem off the car. Id have requested the same thing, I really hate dealer emblems and stickers. If they want to advertise they should put it on a cheap licence plate like the rest of them do.

I know next time I buy a car I will lay down the law just like you did. I don't do free advertising.

I told the dealer that I would be happy to advertise for him by leaving his dealer name on my car...all for a fee equal to my monthly car payment for the duration of the loan. I guess they felt that wasn't a viable agreement so they promptly removed the badge before final purchase. I was only trying to be fair...
