Breathless Performance TransAm Headlights
Does anyone have the Breathless Performance Headlights for the TransAm if so, I have some "?'s" about the lights...I am gonna be placing the order, and they tell me the housing is 100% upgradeable to HID, so I am lookin at ging with the 8000K reg lamp, and a 6000K highbeam....However I would like a few more different angled pics, of the lights rather than on the site, or the Ebay auction...Let me know thanks...

Wow, talk about dropping big bucks for the headlights. The one thing I'd personally recommend though is get some input from people who have had them. I'm not sure the specifics, but I've heard a lot of people say the quality isn't that good, don't know if it's from personal experience or rumor, though.

Look I know all about the comments...All I want to know is someone who has them...The car is a show car, I can fix some of the issues possibly, I'm a regular in the appearance section as some of you know...So I am not lookin for the typical hear-say that can be found using the SEARCH button...
I am tryin to talk to someone who has them by this thread...I can get the Unit, and the HID's for $1600, then I will need the HID fog, which a 6000K setup in another thread here has them for like $400 something...now before someone chimes in with the "spend the money elsewhere' line, then they obviously don't know my project the money has been spent on the GO portion of the car....

How much? I am looking at McCulloch 6000K, and 8000K for less than $600 shipped, and the foglight which are extremely close to factory size, and 6000K for $400 something...

If you can get the entire setup for $1600ish, I say go for it. It'll look amazing as hell IMO especially with HIDs. I'd love for someone to come out w/ a complete HID kit for our cars (both Poncho and Bowties). But it seems theres always some "issue" between projectors, ballasts, bulbs, wiring etc that makes me back off.
Ive always heard the problem was more/less with the Lexan covers than anything else. Of course when you're putting in units like that there's going to be some QC issues, on top of some modification to make things fit. I know you werent looking for hear-say, but thats just what I always heard. Ive seen the setup on a Vette before, and it looked great installed. Dunno what else the guy did, but the final product was killer looking. If you've got the $$, go for it. Esp w/ some of your experience.

I just wish you would hurry up and finish this damn car. From the things you have done so far and the things you have planned it sounds like you might put Whistler to shame

Did you ever think of using C6 headlights? I think that would have looked great on the car and it would have been OEM.

Someones used C6 components in their Camaro housings. I dont remember the name, but there was a post about it previously. Might wanna do a search for that thread and see what all was involved

Not really making it a "competition". I think that car is one of a kind, as well as VSG. I just cannot wait to see it. I wasnt taking anything away from the Whitler car, it is sick but it would be kinda cool to have two fbods tricked to the extreme
