Previously, you had to apply a coat of Z-1 to your car, let it haze, then apply Z-5 or Z-2 directly to that. The Z-1 helped the initial layer of sealant adhere to the car. ZFX eliminates the need for Z-1 and helps decrease the curing (drying) time of the initial coat of sealant. You only need to use ZFX with the first coat of sealant.

I know a lot about how to make them shiney, and a little about making them handle better, but not much about making them go fast.

I don't think it hurts anything, and it might dry a little quicker. Down in Houston, when it's eleventy billion degrees in the summer, it doesn't take long for Zaino to dry anyway.

dries quick here in fl too but it just pisses me off cause that **** is expensive and i just wasted it

They say you're supposed to use it every few coats anyway.....don't think it's really a waste. Just means the it seals better.
