Default fixing up dings

I've got a few dings on my rear quarter panel. Any one know a rough estimate of those paintless ding removals?

Mine was around $75 per panel.

Oh, its per panel and not per ding? Just judging to bother with calling my insurance on it or not.

I paid out of pocket. It was several years worth of small dings before I got mine popped out. No sense making your insurance premiums go up $500 per year for a $150 expense.

Actually, with Progressive and my 2000 Jeep, my insurance rates never went up for any of my claims under $1000. The trouble is there is no way to tell until its too late if it was worth it or not! :o)

Our cars are known to get small dings above the rear tires on the quarters. This can happen after many hard launches on cars without SFC's. Apparently SFC's will keep this from happening. Not sure if these are the dings you have but if they are and you get them fixed they will probably come back unless you get some SFC's....Or stop launching hard...I'd get the SFC's...more fun

That's what I have. A quality piece with a good powdercoated finish.

The ding guy only charged me $75 to remove three dings from the passenger side and one from the driver's side. He said the previous owner had this done on both sides too because they had already drilled and plugged a hole in the door jambs. The way he did it was putting a long tool into the inner fender through the door jamb. He could do it by feel and a flourecent light on the panel.

YES!!!!!! Eventually those bolts will loosen up, and a tight bolt isn't the same as welded metal.

EDIT: I had mine welded in at a local exhaust shop. I think they charged me $50, which wasn't too bad cosidering it took 45 mins.
