Pics of my SS
I have discovered the wonderful world of microfiber this weekend. Amazing difference using microfiber towels to dry, wipe off polish, and buff. That stuff is great. I was even more impressed with the Porter Cable kit & Poorboys polishes. I'm 99% satisfied with the results. There are still a few areas which need a little more attention but after spending 3-1/2" hrs buffing yesterday I got lazy. I didn't even finish detailing the tires or the interior. It was definetly worth the $ for the kit. Here are a few pictures, let me know what you think.
I was hoping to get more pictures outside but by the time I was done with the entire car the sun had dissapeared behind a hazy sky.

So what did you go with. A good SSR2.5 followed by a SSR1. That is my fav combo. I've pratically dropped people to the floor with the results on cars with it.
For those that don't know Porter Cable & Poorboy polishers are just about the best combo ever. So what are you going to seal it with. Might I suggest Sourvern Deep Gloss sealant, and possibly a Pinnacle Carnuba to top it. Ah it's time to rev up the PC....

I'd like to try something else for the final coat, some other sealant or wax.
After seeing the hood of that BMW I'm thinking the two mentioned there wouldn't be a bad choice.
