Ouch thats a bad deal. Ive seen glass repair kits in Pop Boys before, I have no experience with them though. I have a sweet *** crack in my whindshield, special thanks to the Supermix Cement truck that was a quarter mile ahead of me dropping rocks on the highway. So I feel your pain. lol

They make a powder called "Rhodite." It's basically ground up scrap diamond material. You would get a special pad and use the rhodite with water and a drill to buff glass.

It's really to be used when restoring glass (like from an antique car where there's no replacment glass available. You would polish the glass to a new finish.) If the gouge is deep you will simply make a smooth, but noticable divot line in the glass.

If the scratch is barely etched in the surface you have a shot at fixing it. Check Eastwood (sponsor) and see if it's there. ===>

Otherwise you might as well start looking for a new windshield to make it perfect again. ~Joshua

FYI his wiper blade has scrached the factory tint off the glass and scrached the glass too...you can't fix that by buffing it..you fix it with a new windshield..

Local glass company will replace the windshield for $225..after gettting sand blasted for the past few years with all the stuff that gets thrown up off the road in just normal driving it was a no brainer for me.
