Default side molding deleted...NOW comes the badges...

are they way harder to do than the side moldings?...if so ill prolly just go ahead and leave em on, but i want them off really bad

Yeah, use fishing line to "saw" them off. Once you got that done, it's gravy.

how exaclty do u do the moulding i wanna do it but im nervous i do have aheat gun but not sure how hot to put it or how close to hold it to paint.

just yank it off slowly. then you just need to get all the glue off which is the pain in the ***. but that can be done with fishing wire or do what I did and use your thumb.

dont be scaaaaared its only some molding..i did mine in about 10-15 minutes per side

im paranoid aboutmycar lol, and did u see the other thread were the guy took a chunk of paint like 2 feet long with it, im not really scared i just dont know the right proedure

let the car sit in the sun to warm the sides if you are worried. Comes off pretty easy, I was worried too but using my thumbs for excess and some rubbing alcohol, that was all that was needed.

Ina ll honesty, I didn't use any sort of heat gun or hairdryer. Unless your really living in cold weather, 60 temps should be ok to get that molding off, although, it doesnt really matter.

my only other wirry i beleieve my door might have been replace or repainted at one point before i had it so dont know whats underneath

Mine came off without too much trouble with no heat. Was probably ~60f in my garage.

pssssh i did mine in winter time right outside with no gun or dental floss or any of that other bullshit, just ripped them off in about 10 minutes both sides.

Really easy,the glue/foam stuff sucks tho. I used my thumb,dont like the whole heat idea. I let my Trans Am on tho...i dont like it all bare
