Default shaker hood?

I am considering trying this. Getting a shaker scoop of a '79 T/A, cutting a hole in the hood, and making a mount to attach it to the top of the intake/TB. If it doesn't work out, I'll just attach the scoop to the underside of the hood instead of the intake.

BTW- I have an '98up T/A conversion on my car.

Has anyone done this? I think it would look badass.

I did it!

I am not a fan of the scoop on the Ram Air hood. Also, the fender heat extractors along with the stock vents are too much for me...one or the other, but not both.

I settled on attaching the scoop onto a strut tower brace. It doesn't shake like I wanted, but it looks cool.
The hood is too sloped to allow room for a scoop to shake. There is too little clearance between the airbox and the hood.
Let me know how your install goes if you do it.
