I agree, SLP looks way better, but i might have to get the billet because if I got the SLP one then I would have to get it painted to match my painted racing stripes.....that would be too much money.

SLP. If you want to change it up a little, but an old school SS emblem on it. I did that to mine and couldn't be happier.

If you like the look of a black billet, then by all means, go for it!

Many guys on here seem to like the SLP grille. While I do think it looks good, I don't want it for my car. I think that the entire car is too "smooth" and adding that grille simply makes it all look like one big chunk of plastic. The billet grilles break it up just a bit and give the front of the car some life by putting some metal onto it.

And I agree with 2k2 Camaro, the price is different because the SLP plastic one probably costs more to make, but also because it is from SLP (which is known for charging outrageous prices for everything). The fact that it is more expensive has nothing to do with how good it will look on a car, as Silver02TA is implying.

Where did you get your emblems? I think im going to do that to mine. How hard was it to peel off the SLP emblems that are on there?

I got them from Rick's First Generation Camaro. Order a 1967 Camaro SS grill emblem. It will have two prongs on the back of it that you will have to trim or break off. I just used a grinder on mine until the back of the emblem was flush. Then use double sided tape to attach it to your slp grill. The countour fits the slp grill perfectly. Its not hard to get the SS emblem off. You can heat it up with a hair dryer and then use a piece of dental floss to peel each S away from the grill.

This is the actual emblem.

look close at the 67 emblem and you will notice there is a top and bottom. the picture with the bracket shows the SS upside down. it looks like it might be upside down on the red car as well. the S should have the wider part on bottom.

Its not upside down on my car. It used to be an SS 350 emblem and I ground the 350 off the bottom of it. Its right.
