Default Halo and billet grill questions...

I was curious if anyone has any luck with the cheaper halo's on ebay for about 100 bucks. for example this one. I remember buying some for my WRX a couple years ago and I had to cut the hardness for them to work. and the seller basicly lied saying they were direct bolt on's and no wireing modifications were required.

My second question is recently I had my slp SS grill stolen and I dont want to buy another one right now. Whats the best site for Black Billet grills. Everywhere I go there chrome or brushed. I know i could always paint them but i would rather have them come black.

your feedback will be appreciated!

thanx guys!

I'm positive Summit racing carries the billet grille.. although not sure about black. I can't believe someone actually stole your SLP grille...worthless people I swear. How does that grille attach?

I can't believe they still charge 40.00 bucks for shipping those headlights. I bought mine of a local board member.. I'm pretty sure they are all the same though.

Almost all ebay halos are the same. They all charge about $150 shipped when you total it all up. Some will charge $100 plus $50 for shipping and some will do $130 plus $20 for shipping. It's all the same.

it attaches by 6 cone fasteners and they were a bitch to push it so I dont know how they got them out without being cuaght. On top of that I had 2 sided 3m tape on the other side to help hold them on.
