Default firehawk hood probs

i recently got a pretty beat up firehawk hood. I did some bondo work and spray painted it. After putting it on my car it didnt lign up with the fenders and the front bumber has a gap in the middle. If any one can give some pointers id appreciate it thanks.

The only thing to do is more body workon the hood, it is a common thing that hoods dont line up when bought new.

Dont you have to notch a piece of the nose off to install an SLP Firehawk hood?

yeah you have to trim the bumper up in order for the scoops to settle in right. But now there is a gap in the middle from the bumper to the hood. I think someone said if you put a firehawk emblem there it should hide it.

Yeah, the front bumper needs to be cut specifically for the firehawk hood. That couldbe your problem. Pics would help us undrstand a bit better.

i was thinking of putting a 30th anniversary logo since i have a '99, but i dont know if it would be wide enough.

i adjusted the hood and its setting pretty good now. I just have to do more bondo work to keep the bottom up.

I had one put on my formula and my body shop said it looked off until they put the emblem there. Its probably why slp made the emblem up because they realized it when they were done maybe.
Definitely post pics when its all finished up though.
