My opinion is that only people who have a trained eye for Camaros will really notice them. It's pricey and the money could be put to better aesthetic/interior mods. Export tails are a novelty at best, but even then they aren't exactly striking or unheard of. It does look nice though, and follows the trunk line unlike the LS1 Camaro's tails.

Speaking of which, you may want to consider the bland LT1 Camaro taillights for that very reason. No orange, the lines connect, and if you want, you have the option for tacking on sequentials.

Thanks for the help. I'm not thinking of for the LT1. I'm getting an LS1 in the future, and was sorta planning ahead

i have them on my car, i got a set cheap that were cracked (need to be clearned to keep from condensating) but instead of doing that i went ahead and got another set that were perfect. From any distance my cracked ones look good and i still havn't even taken the time to take them off the car. If you want to see them pm me an email and i can shoot you some pics. I could work out a good price. Oh and ALL exports are used. They were only put on exported camaros from 93-97 i believe and none produced since. I like them because they dont stand out but they are different.

go with LT1 tails instead, definitely look better than the LS1's and Exports.

The red matches completely... I just used a translucent red spray paint (out of a can) from a local hobby store. I taped off and painted just the amber and just the white sections.

The Third-Gen guys have been doing this for years... It's also the same concept as VHT but red instead of black.

You could also have a shop do it by mixing a little red with a clear coat.

OR, you could do it using a transparent red vinyl and you could remove it later if you wanted to.

Off comment but I must say I never liked just the black insert on the SS hood if it didn't have the Manta but I'll be damned if your car doesn't look friggin awesome as is!!!

Just the right amount of black (rims, insert, roof) and just the right amount of red (scoop, car, body colored mirrors)... Nice SS!!!

I wouldn't say they look like ***.....after all, Steve had them on the "Bling mobile/ICON".......

they were made only for Japan for model years 93-96........and I love mine, the right side came all the way from Yokohama!.....

To each his own... Still not a fan.

I especially don't like them in person because I have seen how low of a quality they are... the amber looks like a sticker... NOT the same amber we have on LS1's...

I wish the red was on the right and the amber was in the middle. I love these tail lights but the amber section looks huge
