My opinion is that only people who have a trained eye for Camaros will really notice them. It's pricey and the money could be put to better aesthetic/interior mods. Export tails are a novelty at best, but even then they aren't exactly striking or unheard of. It does look nice though, and follows the trunk line unlike the LS1 Camaro's tails.
Speaking of which, you may want to consider the bland LT1 Camaro taillights for that very reason. No orange, the lines connect, and if you want, you have the option for tacking on sequentials.

i have them on my car, i got a set cheap that were cracked (need to be clearned to keep from condensating) but instead of doing that i went ahead and got another set that were perfect. From any distance my cracked ones look good and i still havn't even taken the time to take them off the car. If you want to see them pm me an email and i can shoot you some pics. I could work out a good price. Oh and ALL exports are used. They were only put on exported camaros from 93-97 i believe and none produced since. I like them because they dont stand out but they are different.

The Third-Gen guys have been doing this for years... It's also the same concept as VHT but red instead of black.
You could also have a shop do it by mixing a little red with a clear coat.
OR, you could do it using a transparent red vinyl and you could remove it later if you wanted to.

Just the right amount of black (rims, insert, roof) and just the right amount of red (scoop, car, body colored mirrors)... Nice SS!!!

I wouldn't say they look like ***.....after all, Steve had them on the "Bling mobile/ICON".......
they were made only for Japan for model years 93-96........and I love mine, the right side came all the way from Yokohama!.....

I especially don't like them in person because I have seen how low of a quality they are... the amber looks like a sticker... NOT the same amber we have on LS1's...
