Default Got our Sunoco Hoods in today :)!!!

My friend Mark (we are both named Mark) and I got our Sunoco hoods in today (we ordered them under the GP price) !!!

We don't have a lot of money so everything was the cheapest route... We got the hoods for GP price, had them shipped together (cut the shipping cost in half) and then had them delivered to the closest terminal for pick-up (to save another $60).

None of our friends had a truck available and we weren't going to rent one so we drove our cars down there and installed the hoods on the street

Here's some pics:

Here we are unloading from the docks (where people normally back their trucks up )

Here you can kind of see the distance we had to carry them to get them back up to the road (the delivery place was ALL THE WAY in the back):

Here's the corner of the street (our cars are on the left in the middle):

and here's the last picture of our cars with stock hoods:

We started on the other Mark's car... One hood off :

and the new hood on:

Next was my car... another hood off:

and the last hood is on:

Here's a pic of mine from the front to show the excellent fitment (took us an hour to play with the adjustments but we figured it out):

and a couple of miscellaneous after pictures:

I'm sure the body shop will make it look better than factory ! It'll be awhile before we get them painted (have to let it cure for 30 days in the sun and most of the time my car is garaged) but man let me tell you, THEY LOOK SO BAD @SS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET !!!

Watching his car in my rearview was awesome and seeing this cowl through the windshield now is awesome, not to mention all the guys we passed (we were in an industrial area) who stopped, turned, and stared at our cars going by

VFN ROCKS !!!!

Any pics of the stock hoods in the car? lol, but anyway both cars look great even without the paint. If I ever get an aftermarket hood thats the one I'm gonna get.

^^ the line is too big, I think it looks just as clean without it. NICE hoods guys!! ahah, tell your friend to get rid of that horrible body kit, that just kills the car for me. Nice choice though, get them painted!

Looks good on both your cars. Can't wait to see pics of it painted now

The comment about how badass they look in a rearview is very true as well, couple buddies of mine have them and they look like sex on wheels

Looks good, now i dont feel so bad driving arround with an unpainted hood I have been using that line that it has to cure for 30 days for like two months now. Let me know when you plan on painting it, maybe we can get a better deal at shop for painting multiple hoods? Car looks bad *** though without paint.
