Default WOW! Great deal on a Harwood Hood...

I have no clue who's auction this is but I saw it while browsing ebay. It is a PAINTED (black) Harwood hood for $300!!!

If I would have seen this before I bought the Sunoco I would have probably grabbed it. Although, it's in Tennessee:

Good for you! My motives for posting it here were selfish, I knew if it went to an LS1tech appearance guy I could see pics

Also, I'm sure he's reserve is probably $300... I'd just buy it now so I didn't have to worry about loosing it...

Damn Damn Damn!! I had to spend that $300 on the LS6 intake. I could have hid the fact I paid and installed the intake, I think the wife would notice the hood.

Default Mine fits

as well as can be expected from aftermarket fiberglass. It was installed when I got the car but I absolutely love it. Not very common and I think it works with the overall style of the car.

seems as though the hood will fit sideways , after you take the LH side panel off! Who would have thought??? i saw an actual pic on someone's thread. if anyone else wants to see the pics the thread was in the Appearance/Detail section. Look for the thread that says something like "Got our Sunoco hoods today".

That was us ! Yup, just take off the side panel, put the points on the PASSENGER SIDE (unlike the pic), have the passenger seat forward and you're good to go !

I would ONLY put the stock hood in the car, not the new one....

Cash is fine with me. No checks, etc. It is painted factory black. It was painted by my local chevy dealer.
No issues with hood. Thanks Gordon
