Default Dark blue accents on pewter?

You guys think it would look alright?

I dont really wanna do black. Black and pewter are extremely played out.

What about like a silver or gray color?

I dont know what to do, pewter is hard

Yea I was thinking the same type of thing. Black is quite overdone on pewter (but it looks sooo good). I don't know if there are any other options that would look killer on it tho. Dark Blue would probably look pretty good though.

I don't see dark blue and pewter matching well at all. If you don't want to do black, try a shade of charcoal or something.

Im going with the blue/pewter theme. Black looks really well, but like other said it is over done. I want to see something different. Whatever color you choose to go with can always be changed, so no big deal if it doesnt look good.

Grrr i dont know what to do!

THink i might just try the dark blue and see what it looks like. If i dont like it, like said, above, i can get rid of it.

I would try a photoshop but i think the photoshop would just make it look cheesy.

There was a pewter camaro with blue stripes on Cardomain a while back. The colors looked awesome together. Only thing was the camaro had a huge wing on it so it made the car look weird.

That red doesnt look too bad, but i dont think i would do it.

I might have to throw on a blue manta and see how it looks...Sport it for a while if it looks good and then go with some 35th stripes.

Eh, i really dont care about the calipers. Im sure if i was bored one saturday i would do them, or if i had a wheel that showed them off more.

I would most likely do a manta first, like i said, and later down the road, quite a bit later, probably 35th stripes.

It is hard to find anything else to match. Red doesn't seem to look so bad when in small amounts. As far as stripes go, I don't think anything would look good besides black or a darker grray/charcoal.

What kind of accents? Like calipers? Hood scoop? Window tint? Turn signals?

I am going to put blue 35th stripes down the car, a blue pin stripe around the bottom of the ground effects, blue calipers, and I already have the blue 69 grille emblems as well as my custom set of Z28 (ZO6 style) emblems that dragonZ28 made. All should go pretty well with eachother. If I dont like it Ill change it.

I agree... there is already so much black on pewter cars you should stick to at least the same Hue and do a black or charcoal

Thanks to the oldschool and heritage trans ams I think white and blue are a good combo. You could stick with the same theme and do a darker metallic version. Pewter and dark metallic blue vs whte and blue. Maybe electron blue? I think it would be an awesome combo.

Here are some pics of whats done so far. The custom emblems, grille emblem, clear corners with blue lights (to give it that tint), also the body stripes and pin stripe for the ground effects are just waiting til the winter is over so I can put them on. Also still need to paint the calipers.
