Default molding delete and clear lid, pics

debadged, took of molding, painted calipers and installed MTI clear lid. yes i know i missed some spots washing, and hadn't painted my calipers yet in most of the pics. ceta mod coming soon.

Engine bay looks identical to mine. Car looks great with the !molding, it makes it look a lot cleaner
Edit: Do you have a rear shot so I can see your tips, I need something new

lid looks great, get holley blue filter under there and it will look better, or a K&N whatever u prefer

Holy Fram air filter Batman!! It looks great but I'd find a filter with a black surround. Possibly a ACDelco. Car looks great!!

X2 on that..

Maybe even get some sort of decal to go on the lid.. I have always loved the look of the decals on the clear lids..

looks very nice. I deleted my molding a couple of months ago, think it looks 10x better

wow that looks aweosme and i think im gonna have to do that sometime on my car too!

And as far as the fram filter goes....i love it. Ive got one too and would totally rock it with a clear lid

How big a deal is removing molding? It is so much cleaner, but does it come off easily? Is is glued on or are there fasteners?

I just used fishing line and pryed it off. Its stuck on with double sided tape.

i just used a flat head screw driver to carefully pry up the corners and then pulled it off slowly. then just used my thumb to roll off the glue. took about 20 mins.

Little heat gun action on that molding makes it easier too but you'll have to get that glue off a little more since it will be more "stickerey" hair dryer works too if heat gun scares you.

Fishing line, gloves and Goo Gone will take care of the molding just fine. Taking a screw driver to my paint like that isn't happing.
