T/A sleepy eye info...
A buddy of mine is looking to do the sleepy eyes on his TA.. Does anyone have any info? I tried a search, but didn't turn anything up under "sleepy eyes"?
He's got an LT1 TA also.

do you mean where the pop up lights are up a little bit? if so them you can remove the fuse for the pop up lights to get them to stay in a desired place.
i would do that in my turbo II rx-7 but called it snake eyes.

i don't think it would look that good on a t/a. it looked bad *** on my rx-7 because there were clear lenses below the pop ups that the light would still shine through.

drivefastforfun is that your car? if so could you please tell us what headlights your using? or if theyre custom etc. And how exactly do you remove the fuse so theyll go to a desired height? i thouhg you had to buy a whole new modulator.

Now if you put the stock headlights with stock lights half up it doesnt look so good.....

I dig the pic on the white bird, yeah you need a housing, but how much did those projector lights cost? It would offer less wind resistance. I like the sleepy lid look better than those breathless performance headlights.

I've heard forma couple guys that own 240's that they run a switch to the headlight motor power and flip the switch to cut the power when they want them to stop. I figure that can't be very accurate but then i can't think of a better way to do it lol

I'm the one trying to do the sleepy eyes. I was trying to make them come up just a bit higher to put a projector low and high beam. I like the way it looks and i got this idea from the import guys (240's and RX7). My original plan was to use hella 90mm but, i might try to use projectors off another production car or the hella 50mm. I want use HID's w/these. I have some designs drawn up for myself, i just need to find a junk headlight assembly and start modifying it. So, we'll see.
