Did you give it the old tug-er-oo or did you take your time and do it the correct way? Be sure you're not going to get harassed by the local 5-0 for not running a front plate, or you'd might as well slap it back on. looks good otherwise.

haha....i kinda half & halfed it. i started pulling the push-pins out of the top, then got the 8 or 10 bolts underneath. it wouldn't come off....then i noticed the ones up inside that were a pain in the *** to get to, so....i pulled the sides out, used a flat-head to pop the bottom clips off, and pulled on it until the top ones broke..... it was like for while, but it came off.
to hell with the cops, i see cars without front tags all over the place. if they try to get me, i'll zip tie one on and get the ticket taken care of then off it will come. plates ruin the look of the car imo.
besides, it's a LS1, they only see the backside

I got it painted at a professional paint shop, and they assured me that it wouldn't chip or anything like that....I think they put something in the paint that makes it so it can flex or bend, but I could be wrong...the slp grille's are painted, and they are plastic, I have not heard any complants about those...
