Anyone have pics of TAs without tips?
I'm thinking about getting duals and it's a lot cheaper to get them dumped, but I personally don't think it would look very good without tips in the back. One reason i wish I had a Camaro . Oh well. A guy I know says it looks really good though because when you see it "you know what its packin'." lol. Anyway, does anyone have pics of TAs without tips out the back that I could take a look at? Thanks.

Last year I took the tips off to polish and clean them up. I took my sweet time getting around to it and drove around without tips for a few weeks. Honestly it looked kind fo funcky. The way the bumbers are shaped you really need the leave the tips on, but hey its your car man.

The ceta, when correctly done, is gloss black... Some people must not know what the ceta mod is, its duplicating the GM Collectors Edition Trans Am, which had a gloss black filler panel..

Ok here is my best impersonation of Simon Cowell.
" Its not the worst Trans Am Ive seen, But not nearly the best either. I think it would look alot better without the tailight covers and for me I like a tailpipe sticking out the back but if thats what makes you happy then more power to you. Just not my cup of tea, definately not the best performance of the night."
By the way Im not attacking you just giving my opinion.

so when did this thread change from "post pics of ta's without tips" to "what's your opinion on the rear of emerica's car?"
i definitely don't think the ta's rear bumper works without tips because of the spaces it has for them. works on a camaro where the bottom of the rear bumper is flat.. but not on a ta.

Keep some tips back there, and the black part of a CETA T/A is just the plain plastic that the bumpers are made from, the factory masked off that portion and paints the rest of the bumper.

Lol, lots of posts. Any more pics though? Or is that the only guy with out tips?
Hopefully i'll be getting my quote from the local shop soon for over the axle and it won't be to bad so I won't have to worry about this, but I have a feeling it's going to be pricey...

Now i just got the price for the duals out the back. He said about $600 without mufflers. So Borlas being about $110 a piece that means its going to be about $820 total, plus tips too... I could probably sell my ORY/Hooker catback on here for like $400, so that would take it down some.
