I bought a set of halo fog lights a the local pepboys. I really like them, I know pepboys is a ricer haven but since the lights went on a T/A I figured it would be ok. I think I paid around 70 for them.

No, your right with tax it was a little over 60, I just rounded up a bit.

Also, yeah they have a light blue, dark blue, red, green halo. The dark blue looks the best imo.

Here is a pic of mine. These are the Hella Optilux 2500 Series and they were $50 and come with H3 bulbs. I replaced them with super white LED H3 bulbs.

I didn't even hook up the halo on mine. There is no way to actually set the color so that the same color always lights. You have to cycle through to pick the color you want each time. It is possible to rewire though it if you are handy with soldering resistors. I don't really care about the halo ring anyway. I bought them because my stock fog light housings where ruined.

The beam pattern is more reminiscent of a driving light than a fog light. They are still better than the stockers and probably the best available locally for $60. Admittedly, there are better options, but they are more expensive and not available locally. Truthfully, I'd rather have projectors, but there aren't any that fill out the stock openings.

Also, I forgot to mention that since the fog light housings are so recessed in the T/A, it contributes to the thin beam pattern.

Some example pics of Hella housings and their beam patterns:
