pics of ebay bezels installed
does anyone have pictures of those ebay gauge bezels installed on their car? the same place sells 3 different ones, stainless steel, aluminum, and chrome. i'm not sure which one would look best on my car, hopefully seeing some pictures from you guys will help me decide.
ps. could people also include some nighttime pictures too?
thanks!

Well, I have the stainless steel version on my T/A - just got done doing the bezel install. All I can say, if you have a TA bezel and want to install these - get ready to do a lot of precise surgery to the factory gage bezel with your trusty Dremel.
There is no way to get the new bezel into the factory assembly as it is sealed (clear portion factory plastic welded to black portion). There's a thread here somewhere that details how one member did his install - I followed his instructions as it was the least amount of destruction needed to do the install. Turned out nice - no pics yet - still haven't installed in car though...

And here would be the link to the thread...

It looks as if whether you have a Camaro or TA - if you want to install these bezels you're better off using the Camaro factory gage bezel.

thanks for that thread. well i have a camaro and was trying to decide between either the ta bezel or one of these. i have no plans to do both. that ta bezels look nice but also kinda plain because they're just black plastic. i figured something in chrome or aluminum would make the entire instrument panel kinda pop out more (which going by his picture it does).
i was also thinking of getting some white face gauges in addition. there's a ton of pics of people with the white gauges and the ta bezel but none that i've seen of people with them and these metal bezels. so if anyone out there put both white face gauges on their car AND one of these metal bezels please take a few pics and post em up! thanks

I have chrome and would recommend buying the Trans-Am chrome bezel (nicer design) and just install it on your Camaro's gauges WITHOUT the stock Trans-Am bezel... It will take you all of 15 minutes

I don't have any good pics of mine but I have the polished stainless bezel from I believe Fire and Ice motorsports on Ebay. I have one in my Sonoma also. The Sonoma was harder because the face was sealed and had a black bezel in it which I'm assuming is like the TA type bezel. On my Camaro I just popped off the clear face and stuck the stainless bezel onto the gauge cluster and put the clear face back on. Super easy to do and makes a world of difference. I hadn't seen any white face gauges I liked so I stuck with the factory ones. I did put a white SS sticker on the tach face to dress it up some. I'll have to take pics tomorrow and post them.

Again, guys with Camaros make sure you buy the T/A chrome/stainless overlay/bezel NOT the Camaro one...
The Camaro one looks goofy as hell (I just installed nitrous on a guy's car that has it, he wants to get rid of it even) but the T/A one will work and outlines the gagues nicely...

Why? I have no complaints about mine and it's for a Camaro. Maybe his is different than mine.
