Default e brake question

ok, camaro guys, u know that when u park ur car and put on the ebrake, the next time u start the car ur lights are off. trans am guys, SHUTUP! u can turn urs off whenever you want, lol. my question, will one tiny pull click on the ebrake mess up the brkaes to drive on? i was told once that at just barly a pull(but enough for ur computer to notice its pulled) it doesn't touch the brakes.

edit:
i dont want the lights on when i drive at night, SOMETIMES!
example, pulling into car shows, and pullin up to my buddies houses and not waking up people with the headlights

anyone?!??!?!?!

Camaro's have auto headlights when it gets dark out.. IMO I love this feature. Only place it bothers me is at the drive in. I don't see why you owuldn't want your lights on at night... I wouldn't want to risk warped rotors because you have very minimal drag on your rotors, which would build heat over time...

I think you can just tear into the dash, find the sensor, and short out the wires....making the auto headlights inop, but I could be wrong.

One click up on the e brake handle will disable the DRL operation. One click is not enough to hardly move the brake cable, so it won't hurt the brakes. Only thing is that the brake indicator light will stay on.

I pull the ebrake up just a little bit like you so I don't run my headlights. Might go in and do the sensor mod though.

Yup. The sensor is next to the alarm LED. Short together the two wires going to the sensor.

pull the fuse for running lights. I've got a TA so that's my guess. I did it on my 98 GMC Sierra.

search for !auto headlights and !drl mods you'll find there are better ways to go about it. I went into the DRL module behind the radio and disabled it. Did the same thing with the autoheadlights and disabled the sensor in the defroster vent on the dash. I also put in toggle switches in the circuits to be able to enable them at any time.

When you 1st put it up, it doesn't need to click, I know what you're saying. It just sucks b/c you have to restart the car unless you do this from the 1st time, which I never remember to if I have to do this (for the purpose of the lights-in peoples windows thing)

i did the disable the DRL module thing, just pull the dash part off unbolt the radio and right behind it on the right is a black box unplug i think its the left plug and see if your turn signals still come on, if they dont then unplug the other one and your set. the only thing that it does is disables the brake light in the dash and gets rid of those lights comin on at night without you switchin them on.
