TA headlight conversion????
Hey guys i purchased some 4703 housing that came with H7 bulbs from a non-sponsered websire euroxxxxx, and thought it was a basic plug the new bulbs into the stock socket, but its not! The H7 bulbs dont fit into the 4703 sockets and was wondering if I had to buy new headlight bulb socket that would fit the H7 bulbs, Im kinda new to all of this so all the info would help, thanks!

if you are trying to fit a different bulb into a housing that was meant for something else, there are a couple different ways, dremel the plastic around the bulb to make it fit or dremel the housing so the bulb will fit, either way the beam it throws might not be as good if you had the actual bulb that is supposed to go in there. I`m having my own issues with HIDs, Projectors etc....but I know you can fit just about any bulb into any housing, doesn`t mean it will look good or not blind the peeps coming the opposite way....my 2cents

You need a H7 Wiring Adapter Harness that has a socket made for the H7 bulb and pigtails to go to your stock HL wiring harness such as this one:
You can get that particular harness at racinglab.com
With that harness you can either cut off your factory bulb connector from end of harness and splice the new H7 harness in - then it just plugs right onto your new bulb.
I guess if you didn't want to cut off your existng connector you could crimp/solder male lugs onto the ends of the new adapter harness and simply plug the harness into your existing connector.
