my head lights need replaced. the plastic is very faded and getting cracked. i rather just replace the whole units with halos and i am not sure what color halos to get on a silver car?

all depends on what other mods your car has.

I.E. smoked corners/black wheels/berger panel I would go with black halos. Or, clear corners/chrome wheels etc i would go clear

Have you not had any problems with those halos mike? i am looking into similar ones on ebay. that model is just cheaper than some of the other ones.

No, I haven't had any problems with them. I think my stock ones were lined up pretty poorly, so these actually project light more evenly (the lights aren't any better, they're just lined up correctly now) and it they definitely look a lot meaner. The blinking halo when I click the alarm looks sweet at night, too, which is the only time you can really see them.

I bought these long before the new ones came out, and for what it's worth, I haven't really considered changing them for the new ones.

i was going to say black or smoked for sure. i just wanted opinions. now, with these headlights it appears there is 3 larger bulbs in each headlight. however, is it just 2 speparate bulbs and then the halo ring is between the 2 bulbs? i just can't tell from pics. plus, can you wire the halo to come on when you just have the headlights on and not the parking lights/fog lamps?

i have chrome on my car and i think they look sweet, i would have gone black but i firgured with my hood insert and berger panel and smoked turns it would be to much black so i decided chrome and i think it looks good on silver, depends on what else u have on ur car though

It is basically a stock headlight with the ring over the bigger hole, 2 bulbs. You can wire the halo however you wish but keep in mind the light is very faint and it is almost impossible to see during the day, and if it is dark enough to see you should have your headlights on anyways.

yeah get these off of ebay. they have a few different styles and the prices do vary quite a bit.
