Default Ordered my Porter Cable today

I ordered my PC yesterday from tropi-care along with some other goodies. So now im wondering what the process should be when I recieve it? I have the TC-8 swirl cutter and the TC-3 polish coming along with TC carnauba paste wax. So would it be...

TC-8 with the orange pad
TC-3 with blue pad
The carnauba wax by hand

Does that seem right? Any suggestions or tips?

EDIT: I just found a thread from 2005 that helps alot...

The Tropi-Care website also has a section that should answer your questions. You will love the PC.

Yea I knew that, I just meant the PC process. I know I remove the TC-3 with the polishing bonnet but what about the TC-8? Same way?

I love my PC from Tropicare, I'm going to post a write up when I'm done
I wouldn't use more than setting 6 though. 5-5.5 was my sweet spot for working... 6 was hectic and started to rip one pad

I just use a microfiber towel to remove whats left of the swirl cutter.

Exactly .. wipe off the remaining TC-8 and the Tc-3 with a high quality MF towel.

make sure you prime the pad prior to using the TC-8 by giving it a couple of squirts of the detailing spray.. it will cut way down on the dusting ..

crap I never knew what speed to use mine on, so I never went above 4. So is 5-5.5 the best speed to use?

apply the TC-8 using 5.0 to 5.5

apply TC-3 using 2.5 to 3.0 whatever feels best for you

remember thin thin thin on the TC-3

Our TCPC-10 kit special at $161.99 + shipping is our most popular item. It will be available for the entire detailing season. As a bonus, you get to select 1 free item valued up to $16.00.

Once you start using this machine, you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner. Ask anyone who is using one of their own now.
