LED's won't burn out that fast (takes a LOT longer than a regular bulb so don't worry)...

But if you still want a sepearate switch get another foglight switch with a harness ($40 just for the switch from the dealer not including the harness but I have a switch and harness I am selling for $30 shipped) and wire them to that and it will mount right next to the factory one...

OR, you could use the factory one. Just splice to wires together making your fog lights stay on whenever the headlights are on (who ever turns their foglights off?) and then use the facotry switch for your Halos

Ummm.... you send power to the switch, the switch sends power to the Halos and then you ground the other Halo wire. If you don't know how to "wire up a switch" you are probably better off just piggybacking them to the foglights or DRL's and calling it a day

No,

Its part of a package. If you ordered a stripper Camaro (minus the electronics)package you won't get foglamps. There are lots of people on here that have stripper cars. In fact one of my best friends and member here ordered his SOM Z28 like this back in 02

Wow, good to know !

In that case buy a switch from the auto parts store and mount it in your ash tray (drill a hole in the ashtray).

You can use a spade connector on a wire, stick it into the "ignition" open spot on the fusebox (driver side, inside the car) or piggyback a wire onto the orange wire from your cigg. lighter (not sure if that will be enough power though) run that to the switch and then run a wire from the switch to the halos (go through the passenger side, there's rubber grommet through the firewall behind the computer).

Ground the other two Halo wire and if your switch has it's own light ground the switch and you're done

tapped mine into my DRL's . . . spliced it into the brown wire, you need to pull the plastic casing off and you'll see 3 wires

How would you do this right here?
My girlfriend has halos on her '98 SS but they aren't wired up, and this sounds like a damn good option.
So the fogs would come on whenever the headlights come on, and the foglight switch would now be Halos? Would she have to have the switch on atleast park lights before the Halos would come on if I ran it like this to the foglight switch? Thanks!
