Default Another "Which Caliper Color for my Car" Thread

Hey everyone. Im having a really hard time trying to decide which color I should paint my calipers. My car is black and has silver/polished theme to it. Im installing polished TTII's in a week or so when I get my GSD3's and I wanted to paint my calipers. I've narrowed down my options to Black or Red. Polished calipers are out of the question for now as I dont have the time or resources to get them done (die grinder, etc.). So Which would you choose. If neither color, tell me which one you'd pick instead. Thanks.

Heres a few old pictures from last year just to get an idea.

Black brackets, black lettering but silver caliper.

That way, your caliper shines thru instead of your lettering and bracket.

I just did red on mine a few days ago, they were flat black before... and am soon putting on stainless Z28 badges, so will have the same theme as you going on...I also had a hard time deciding, but the red stands out so much more, and yesterday I painted the Wilwood lettering on the front calipers black (not pictured) so I think it really makes them look nice.

Once I get all the calipers painted, and the emblems on I will snap pictures.

but here is what the red looked like on the front before I painted the wilwood lettering black...

X2, that would look great with your black/silver theme, would give it a very clean and sleek look.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I've decided on Black with Silver lettering to match my stripes/decals and am going to stick with my theme. Red looks good but Im going for the more sleek look. I will post pics when Im done. Thanks again!
