Default is the VFN 3" SS hood functional??

I have the stock GM SS Hood on my car.. im getting bored of it.. i was thinking about selling it and possibly getting the VFN 3 in SS Hood or the Sunoco hood.. im not sure which one would look better.. anyway i have 2 questions..

If i were to sell my stock GM SS hood... it's in great condition just wondering what would be a good price to ask for it..

and as the title says does anybody know if that hood is functional?

Normally no but just ask VFN to open up the scoop and they'll do it for you.

OEM replacement SS hoods range from $1300-$2000 plus.If yours is in good shape, $500-$700 would be reasonable. VFN's are the way to go, unfortunately I ended up going with a stock hood as the wait for VFN was too long and I needed to get the car out of the shop.
