Default 1st Time ***** - Claybar & bikini wax (56k warning)

Hey guys, I'm gonna ***** my car out for the first time so take it easy on it.
I recently clay barred (mother's) and waxed (Meguiars Wax #21) it for the first time Pics taken with new camera Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80

Clay bar was awesome i read here on tech to cut the bar in half in case you drop. Did it, dropped it and I was saved by the other half. At first it didnt seem like it was doing anything but then i did the plastic bag test...AMAZING. Clay barred area seemed like ice and the non barred area was like a gravel road!!!

Prior to February '07 my car was bone stock.
Wheels are z06 wheels 18x9.5 275/35 fronts and 18x10.5 (295/35) rears (lmperformance.com)
KDW tires (tirerack.com)

Wish/todo List: Strano Springs, Koni 4/4's, tints, !molding.

before clay/wax and after. Notice the huge spot (shaped like 1/2 moon) above the wheel on the fender. It wouldnt come out with washes.

ok whoring time, comments, suggestions, and criticism welcomed:

Is it just the camera or does the paint look really flat? Did it help with any swirl marks? Looks good anyways but just a couple of those shots it looks like a really flat paint.

here is my thoughts

car looks awesome.

You said you were gonna lower it and do the !molding mod.. so there goes those comments.

I would ditch the tips and then your car is ****.

Either way, it is your car and only you matter as to what it looks like. But you did ask so I figured I would tell you.

Best wishes bro

It looks much better but what it really needs is some buffing to remove the swirls and bring that shine out even more.
Some people aren't as **** as I am though.

thanks for the comments... sorry about the bikini part just wanted to get some views ( i should be in marketing )

nifty97zi'll try to get some day shots
john5212 I think it looked dull in the garage due to the reflection i noticed that too. The pics from outside dont look as dull.

I dont think it did much for the swirl marks. this time around i just wanted to get the crap off and put a fresh wax on. next time ill use a buffer. I'm not too familiar with it so i'll have to do some research because i also want to add a layer of polish next time. Batmobiless i'll contact u for some tips on buffing if ya dont mind.

As for the TIPS, i'm not sure if i like the magnaflows or not they seem too big and im going for a clean look. I like the corsa pro tips. I believe those are the longer tips but still quad tips. We'll see. t hanks for looking
