PC and tropicare question
I recenly purchased some Tropi-care products and want your opinions on some things. I got the orange pad with TC-8 and i was wondering what speed i should use with my PC. Also if i need to be more careful on black cars? Then i got the blue pad and some TC-2. I would just like to know how you guys would do this. Thanks.

I start out with a speed around 3 to spread the swirl cutter and then bump it up if needed. Black or any dark color shows more imperfections in the paint. White is more forgiving obviously. Just take your time. I would use the TC3 (polish) before the TC2 (wax). Did you get some polish also?

Once the paint is swirl free and clean (clay bar if needed) I would apply the polish before the wax. The polish makes the paint pop with that deep gloss shine especially noticable on dark cars. The wax protects the polish/paint for the long lasting shine. Do you have a local dealer or did you buy through Tropi-Care's website? I can send you some polish, but it would be easier and quicker if you have someone local.

That is correct. Spreading the swirl cutter at a slower speed keeps it from "slinging" off. Once spread evenly then bump the speed up. That way has worked best for me. The 50/50 solution is also a great tip

speed 6 is fine to use as long as you are not using a backing plate from Meg's. some of the MEg's backing plates have been known to have issues when using the PC at 6 for any length of time. the heat cause the glue to melt, and the pad can come off during use.
just something to watch out for..
