Default Autometer Gauges

I'm subscribing to this one! I've been going from site to site trying to find the better prices on em. I plan on doing this mod with American Platinum Series gauges. Swat

Yes, it has been done & assemblies were even sold on here at one time. Do a quick search in this section & it should pull up. I forget the guys name, but it had (2) 5" gauges & I believe (4-6) 2 1/16" gauges split up between each side. The plate they fit into was made of aluminum.

That look REAL nice! I was gonne try to find a way to keep the clear plastic in front of the gauges by taking a gauge bezel apart and making a template of the face of the factory gauges. Thoughts?

sounds pretty kool. what i think im gunna do is use the autometer pro-comp ultra lite series gauges. a new 3 and 3/8ths tach and speedo and voltmeter and fuel level in the dash. then on the a pillar in going to do the pyrometer, water temp and oil temp. on the cowl in gunna do oil pressure, water pressure, and fuel pressure. then in my cubby hole i have a custom panel that im gunna make and im gunna put a boost gauge and a vacumm gauge. all of these are full sweep electrical except the boost ad vacumm gauge those are mechanical.

That's more or less what I plan to do. The factory six in the cluster, and two add-ons in the A-pillar. After I convert to V8 and eventually get it Supercharged, I'll use the middle air vent for a boost gauge. Now, I've seen the pyrometer gauges on the sites, but I'm not sure WTF it's for. Why would a person need it? Swat

I wish Autometer would do something like this for us. This one is for a Mustang. I found this about 4 or 5 years ago. I emailed them and asked them if they planned on anything like this for us and I never heard a response.

I finished my custom gauge cluster a couple months ago, but haven't really used the car much since. I also don't have the best pics yet. I used Autometer's 5" Speedo and Tach and mounted those in tinted lexan and then mounted 4 Nordskog digital gauges about 3/4" behind the lexan so when the car is turned off all you see is the 2 main gauges. Here are the pics...

well having aftermarket gauges isnt for everyone. the sunaco car has a pretty nice cluster in it if you ask me using the autometer gauges. im just sick of my stock lt1 camaro cluster and wanna do something with it. anyone got pics of an lt1 camaro with autometer gauges in place of the cluster?

No No No No, the APC salesman told me they would at least add 30HP, cut 300lbs off the car, and give me better high speed handling.
