i got a 99 ta pewter with the vfn 4" ws6 cowl. the hood is black fiberglass still. its time to paint it. but i dont know if i want all pewter, anyone have or seen any nice painted hoods.

Bringing this back from the dead. Did you ever get it painted up OP? Also, how was the fitment? This one appears to be the "non sloped" hood; did you have any thoughts of doing the sloped hood?

Yeah, should have done the leg work to see if he's still around. I like the hood, and have pondered gettine one myself, but was trying to figure out how well people like them over the OE WS6 hood. I think they look killer, and if painted right, should look just as good as the OE WS6 hood. The fitment seems to be good.

Too bad you aren't closer to ohio, I am selling mine to get the extended liftoff version. Fitment is very nice right out of the box.
