How do you take out the lights in the door panel??

Default How do you take out the lights in the door panel??

This is very frustrating because it doesnt seem like anyone else has had this problem.... I just cant get the bulb out... can someone please explain this... I am in the middle of trying to do this and I just cant get them out...

you just pull the sucker out,,,,they might break in the process though.....

The majority of the time they do break. If so just pull by the filament with some needle nose pliars.

You can also try using a mousepad to hold onto those and pull them out if you really want to save the bulbs.

on my car they twisted before they came out not sure if there the same in yours

yup I was talkin about the bulb itself... I just wasnt sure... and I didnt want to just start pulling on stuff... but yes, that is what you do... thanks guys!

my driver side light in door is out too ! is it possible to put some LED in the same socket. has anyone done this b4 ? if yes then HOW ?

i bit them with my teeth and pulled them out that way and they didnt break. and yes you can replace them with led bulbs they are #74 bulbs.

yes, it is very possible... and very easy... talk to brian2006 ^^ he will hook you up with whatever you need... and they just plug right in... *he just got my leds for mine!*

--I wouldnt recommend using your teeth on the other bulbs though... that may have worked... but as easy as those shattered (and all of them did but one)... I would NOT want sharp pieces in my mouth... Just shatter them on purpose and pull them out by the filament... (this way you dont accidently shatter them and get pieces EVERYWHERE.. or in your mouth)
