Scratches out of interior plastic trim panels?
In between the seats where the seatbelt buckle goes, there is a heavy scratch in a radius of the seatbelt buckle. Also down by the floorboard in the front there are a lot of scratches on the plastic. What is best to get rid of these scratches?

Yea, the heat gun works great on light scratches but be careful not to over heat it or the erea will be glossy.
There are vinyl/trim guys that also do repairs for the severe scratches. Just like any other profession though there hit/miss on the quality.

That happens alot in these cars, the seat belt buckle rubs against the center console and eventually you'll have scratch marks down the side of it, moving the seat backwards and forwards makes it even worse(I know form personal experience)
"Someone" has or makes seat buckle covers, I don't know exactly what kind of material they use or where they got them, heck you could probably make your own, I think they would prevent any "scratching". I would buy a set in a heartbeat.

There are lots of places that do plastic repairs. Basically they have a filler they put in the scratches and then they spary a type of paint over the panel that matches the factory paint. Check your local phone book. Lots of car dealers use their services. The pricing is usually very reasonable and most places that do it are mobile (work out of vans etc).
