Default Can these be sanded and shin up like new??

im just wondering if i can sand these down with 1000 sand paper and buff them???

If those are what I think they are, they're plastic. Plastic acts differently than paint.

Try some plastic polish, like PlastX

It says for clear plastics, but I don't know of anything else out there.

kool thanx bro....i used 1000 and buffed out a hondas headlights with and came out pretty damn good... i think those were plastic too

Yea, I've done that too, but I don't know why something tells me to try it on the inside of the covers just in case.

you can sand and polish plastic, you are absolutely right. just stay in the higher grits and wet sand then polish and i bet you could get them looking like new.

40-45 for front pair and 40-45 for the back pair.... im not going to spend 90 for something i can clean up a less than an hour! LOL

Another vote for PlastX. I used it on my gsxr's windscreen and w/o sanding it took out some sizeable scuffs.

I recently just bought that to buff my headlights, and lets just say i wasted my money...
