Alright, for Christmas my girlfriend and brother gave me a certificate saying they would pay for me to get my manta stripe painted on. I have a WHITE SS and was wondering what color to paint it? Originally I was going to get it painted black (since several other people have done the same thing and it looks amazing) but now I'm not sure. The car looks completely stock as of now, but I'm hoping to get some chrome z06 rims very soon. Any thoughts or PICTURES would be appriciated!!

a gloss black manta on that car would be gorgeous, i really dont see waht other color it could be, did you have anyhting in mind? but black i think would be the best bet. That and a set of BLACK zr1's or TTII's, and black halos? beautiful....

My other idea was a hugger orange manta. And I was going to do the whistler mod but i think leaving the stock headlights alone will look better if I get chrome z06 rims. Maybe some clear corners and an SS slp grill this summer...

mabye im biased but i just think that a black manta would roll well with the other parts of your car, sail panel, mirrors, etc.....

so thats why i suggested the other highlights like the black wheels and lights, i think the grill and corners would help out as well

If you go for a hugger orange manta, I would have other touches of orange on the car. Maybe orange hockey stripes if you like them?

Black is the most common and safest bet... However with a white car you can pull off other colors..

I vote black, but orange doesnt look half bad either, it just depends on what else you wanted to change on the exterior to make it flow.

i would do orange manta, then get a slp bowtie grille paint the bowtie orange and your ss emblems orange

Both black and orange look so good.. it's a hard decision... if i was just putting a decal on i would probably try orange, since not too many people have that color. i kinda think that on a white car an orange stripe can look good without any other accents. i mean im gonna have chrome rims, but i don't think it really needs other orange parts on the car. the berger camaro with the orange stripes didn't have any other hints of orange, neither did the 30th anniversary i don't think??

if you do the orange which i think would look great you dont need other orange accents but it would not hurt, another option is orange ss badges with a black outline, then put a black decal on the orange manta (ex. LS1, 350 HP, RAM AIR) with a black inlay in the scoop
