Default Best 98+ TA hood?

I just picked up a 98 Firebird over the weekend and I am wanting to put a bad a$$ hood on it. But I dont know what hood to get, I like the VFN ws9 hood w/ heat extracters. What is different about WS6 and WS9 hoods?

Is the firehawk the same as the Raptor hood?

I say stay stock but go Raptor if you really want a hood. The Firehawk hood is similar to the Raptor hood but if you get a Firehawk hood you would have to cut your front bumper to make it fit as Firehawks had a different front bumper. Raptor hood has always been my favorite

Well, I guess you can't go wrong with the Raptor according to the sales page:

PONTIAC FIREBIRD HOOD SCOOP WILL PAY FOR ITSELF!! Over the course of a few years the Pontiac Firebird hood scoop will pay for itself on gas savings alone.
And it adds 10-15hp!

It's a matter of oppinion and taste. I personally like the Us Exotics superhawk hood best. It has smooth lines like the firehawk and raptor, but is more aggressive and almost a cowl hood.

The Raptor hood is only going to add HP if you buy the optional air box assembly. Otherwise, no more HP but some cooler underhood air = GOOD.

We've sold a lot of Raptor hoods and everyone has been extrememly happy with them
