Default some pics of the car

do you think this will buff, or shine up if i clay bar and wax it? j/k lol. its a 53 chevy i drug out of the weeds for $300. planning on putting a caprice frame underneath they have the same wheelbase, and that way ill have updated brakes and steering, and then ill put some floorboards in and fix the rust, add some flame throwers and go cruising. i should atleast have it on the road for a round a thousand dollars. enjoy!!

Looks like it might need a little wet sanding. LOL Looks like a cool project. We are building a 38 Chevy and a 40 Chevy for two of our customers. They are fun to work on. Looks like you found a clean(er than most) body to start with. Good luck.

yeah or close to wont be a show car by anymeans but it run and drive, me and my friends do body work, and a friend has a english wheel and all those other good tools that will cut a finger off easily. so as long as i dont loose a finger should be around 1000

nice find for $300. Make it a strait axle gasser, but LS1 powered of course. Here is a pic of a local one that I regret not buying last year as a roller

thats sweet thought about a gasser but going to go for the rat rod - leadsled look

Didn't think of that, would look sick w/ white walls and moon caps, lowered, and keep the patina, no matter what, you got one nice car, congrats!

hey blackduk98 is ee you live near cleveland, i actually went to school at ohio tech college dowtown cleveland and lived in bedford hieghts for a year

How did you like that school? I've heard it's good from some, and bad from some. I live about 10 miles south of cleveland. You could never get me to live in cleveland though, TA wouldn't last a second in some of the neighborhoods, lol. Not the best place to walk around. When you get workin on that car, post up some pics of the progress, def. interested

school sucked the president is a coke head ******* idiot and i did not learn **** while i was there that i didnt already know, but i took auto body depending on what you taking it could be a diff story also i was there from 03-04 so things might have changed

Ive always wanted to get something like that and put a juiced h/c BBC in it and leave it all rusty looking and beat up. That would make a sick sleeper.
