Default Large hump?
What is in this big hump that is between the rear seats and the trunk bottem aside from the wheel wells? Can you just remove the back seats all the way flat to the trunk to kill off mad weight?

Nope, that's for the driveshaft and some room for pivoting up and down as the suspension travels.

doesn't the gas tank tuck up somewhere in there as well?

he is talking about the hump between the rear seats, and the trunk well where the t-tops go when they are out.

remove that and your rear end has no where to go when the car is on the ground.......
