Whistler mod didn't go the way I wanted.
Well after spending numerous hours on doing a full restoration in turning some stock headlights into Whistlers, they unfortunately did not turn out the way I wanted.
Everything went well until when I peeled off the tape covering up the chrome centers, thats when the original chrome paint peeled off with the tape! So I figured I would repaint the chrome part with chrome paint... however the chrome I used wasn't the exact same chrome -- appearing as a polished aluminum color.
So now I am stuck with some headlights I do not want. I'd keep them and fix them up a bit more but my wheels aren't polished aluminum and rather have another go at a new pair (I am a perfectionist).
Oh yah I spent 10 hours restoring the plastic on the front of the headlights. Starting from completely hazed plastic to wet sanding them (400 to 2000grit), to Novus 1-2-3 steps, and then Zaino buffing them. They look brand new crazy mint. Just the paint needs touch up.
Heres some pics --- Whats does everyone think I should do with them?

The only downfall on that is the type of paint, it doesn't last.... heat will break it... its just my opinion.... I did fix one of the taillights in my firebird by painting it with that, it look good for a couple of days and then paint turns regular grey.....
