Great pics, I love the hood. Nice pics of the jegs bar. How much did you have to cut the main hoop? Can you shoot some pics of where you have the rear bars attaching and email them to me here is my email address jsbird98@comcast.net if its not too much of a hassle
I hope mine looks like that when I get it done, Awesome work BTW,

Looks great! What is in the back where the seats used to be? It looks like something is there besides the seats, but I can't tell what. Very impressive!

Re: New car pics 3
Thanks for the compliments all =)
98trans am: I just got the hood back from the paint shop, I am still undecided on what to do about the scoop. I was thinking about picking up a plastic grill and putting it on for looks. Or I was thinking about a black sticker with some teeth in the scoop insert hehe
frcefed98: I only had to trim about an inch or so off the main hoop. I have my main hoop snugged up as close to the roof as possible, it helps to see out the rear view better. I will take some more pics of just the roll bar and post them here. That was the first time I ever welded anything. I got a few pieces of scrap roll bar tubing and practiced for a few hours before doing the install. The real tricky part was welding the 6x6 plates to the floorboards because the metal in the floor is so thin it is easy to burn a hole right through it, keep that in mind.
Toonz: Are you taling about that little orange hump thingy? That where the bucket seat in the back bolts to. I am still running the stock carpet (no sound padding) so the carpet has the square hole in it to mount the back seats. I have light weight carpet, I just haven't installed it yet.
14u2nv: The bottom of the VFN pin on hood is not finished, its basically only 1/2 a hood. They do this do make the hood light as hell. The entire hood weighs 11 lbs. I believe my stock SS hood was close to 50 lbs. The bottom don't really look that bad, but it doesn't matter much to me since my car is a really a race car now.

Where did you get light weight carpet? I currently don't have any carpet from the front seats back but would like to put some back in if it doesn't weigh too much. TIA.

I bought my carpet from Home Depot. Its graphite (black) boat carpet. Its super light weight and its really easy to fold. I paid about $30 for a 8'x15' roll.

How did you attach the hood to the stock hinges? How sturdy is it? I want the pin on hood but I'd really like to use the hinges but I don't want to worry about cracking the hood either.
