Default Black Halo (angel eye's) & True HID's (not 56k friendly)

This video shows the HID lights warming up and going through a color change, it's hard to see really good since the camera can't handle the brightness of the HID's

The HID's are pretty nice looking. Not a fan of the halo headlights, but to each their own.

Those look pretty damn mean on your car! Much better than stock Camaro headlights.

What all do the headlights come with? Do they come with bulbs (high and low beam)? Can you use the stock bulbs from the car? Do the fit good? This Halo light or whatnot, is it a lense or a bulb or combination of the 2? If its a type of bulb, does it come with the lights? Can you please explain what it is and what the advantages/disadvantages are? So the only modifications required are wiring up the seperate bulb? (halo light) Whats with the HID lights? What does it stand for? Are they not regular bulbs? Whats different about them and how come they cost so much? Sorry for all the questions, but any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Many of these questions are answered in previous posts in this section.

Those look pretty sharp, make the front end of the car look more sophisticated.

Looks good. I just put a set of HIDs on my corvette and love them. I got a good deal from Tuan over on the corvette forum. He has a GP on them right now.

Is the halo part on in the daytime pics? I like them but I don't like the halo part that much, can you take it out? My headlights are all chewed up and yellow (98') so I figured instead of buying stock get something a little cooler

Very nice. Awesome work. Did you steal the Angel Eyes Idea from BMWs

What kind are they 6000K, 7000K? I just found one with 10,000K!

Anyone have a link with some good prices on HID systems?

7000k, If you go higher than that on the color scale, your lumen output will drop considerably, then you would be just buying colored light bulbs that are a little bit brighter.

No the halo is not on in the daytime, and you cant take it out, I dont think.

The halo is removable, I disassembled the unit the other night when doing some custom work on them. The halo pops right out and the wires can be drawn through the epoxy used to seal it. I don't recommend the novice user taking these apart though.

I got a set of 8000K HID's for $399. They are made by K2. I really like em.

Yeah they look like BMW lights.

Personally, I think that the BMW lights look pretty good. If I had another Camaro soon (muwahaha) I would seriously consider doing these.
