Default so iam an idiot

i bought a polished optima battery covery from steve at ss.... well the cover does not fit my batt.... mine is a 75/25 and it clearly says it will fit a 34/78 i paid lik 80 something with shipping and he wont take it back cause i took off white paper man am i stupid...... if anyone can use ill give you a good deal......

I wonder if it will work on my Duralast gold? How far apart are the holes for the top posts?

I'm surprised he won't take it back. I've heard a lot of good things about his customer service in the past.

I'd try posting this up in the parts for sale section and see if it will get a few hits.

I run into the same scenario as Steve does with my pieces. Once the film is peeled off the piece it is hard to resell. When people buy pieces from me they like knowing they are the first to see the polished finish. Plus it is there to protect during shipping and production. Hope that helps explain it better.

I've already explained this to Mike but seems like I should post here before people get the wrong idea about us...

Once you remove the white protective layer, we can't exchange it. Reason being is we can no longer sell it as new. Our return policy clearly states this ( http://store.specializedstainless.co...emplate=policy ) and on the packaging list in bold red font it says, "Test fit your item BEFORE removing the white protective film."

Sorry again Mike. If I get any customers looking for the cover you have in "like new" condition I'll send them your email if that's alright with you?
