Default Detail the engine bay

What do you guys use on the wheel wells in the engine bay? I have a white car with the motor out right now and tried to clean that sh*t up and it does not look any better. WTF works to make it look better besides towing it to a paint shop and letting them paint it?

Thanks
Jon

I would say to maybe use some Purple Power on it. Its a engine degreaser type stuff. Let it sit on there for a min. or so then then wash it off. Then maybe try a quick polish type spray, since the motor is out. Just an idea.

Use some degreaser and take a power washer to it.....but obviously not too close. You could always just try scrubbing a little harder, if you scratch it to hell- then it gives you an excuse to paint it

if it were me this is what i would do. since the motors out i would have them reshoot the white on the engine bay and then clearcoat it. it will make cleaning in the long run even easier.

I was hoping not to do it, but it does seem like the easiest way to do it and keep clean.
