I ran across this link while moving files from my old laptop to my new one. If it has been posted before, mods feel free to delete.

It was such a good article that i had to post a link just in case someone hadn't already.

I thought this was a "Cracked Door Panel REPAIR write-up!" Sadly, it jus' helps prevent one. Still good info though!

just reread that issue yesterday, now my drivers' side is cracked.
was thinking of doing the preventive fix. now what? does gm still sell them?

I went to the dealer to check on two new door panals and like to of **** , When they told me that they would be 650.00 EACH.

I've got a set of panels in perfect shape that i'm going to do this to. I'm going to install them after some new tint and the autotrix mod for the passenger door.
Wife can't understand why i wouldn't just learn to live with the cracked panels and sell the good panels. Women.....
