Default New Leather Interior Installed

Got my leather interior from the Group Buy at Autoleathers.com (Thanks to Jeremy). It was really easy to install and turned out great. For those of you who were on the fence about buying....you should have done it!

Check it out!

Very nice! This was what I wanted to get, but the money
and rumors of layoffs kept me from it.

Looks great. I just got mine today and will be installing it next week. How difficult was the install? How long did it take? Any quick tips? Thanks.

The seats were easy, but take time due to everything that has to be unbolted. If you are going to recover the door panels then I would recommend doing that at a different time. The door panels were the most difficult part of the installation and using hindsight I would have to say I would have rather paid someone to do them.

It took me by myself between 8 to 10 hours.

I like it, have any pics of the doors?

I went with the inserts and not the centers, lets see how those turn out!

I could be but I was not talking down to him his vehicle nor his choices. I simply stated that i do not like the kits. Of course you don't see me with anything better I have not finished my seat nor have I posted pics of my old seats. So while you think I was being a "dick" it is called an opinion.

I thought all seat covers, whether they're cloth, leather, vinyl etc slip over the foam cushions of the seats? How else do you get them over the foam themselves?

that is right. I just stated that I do not like the katskins and what not. I have the ability to do my own interior so I just choose to do so. thats all; I am not knocking anybodies choices just simply stating I personally do not like them.

So you mean you don't care for the made to order slip-on kits that places such as Katzkin and Classic Softtrim make rather you prefer the self-made slip on kits that you can make? I'm just trying to clarify your meaning in that post.

What he is saying is that companies with mail-order leather kits hurt his business. ALL factory leather interiors and cloth interiors are "slip-on" kits. Big deal, as long as they fit correctly, just my opinion.

I think it looks awesome! I'm curious to see what the T/A versions would look like installed. Either way, I think your car looks great.
